Overseas Patients

All of our services are provided in-house, under one roof. Women's Center permanently employs all required professional staff and has the relevant equipment available within its premises. Many of our overseas patients combine receiving quality healthcare with a vacation or visiting of family/friends in India.

Most of our procedures are "day care" procedures, meaning that they do not require hospitalization. This means that one can stop in for their medical needs on their way to a planned vacation at the "queen of hill stations", Ooty. This phenomenon is popularly known as "medical tourism".

Process

Most overseas patients use either the internet or the phone for an initial consultation. Our medical team suggests any preliminary tests that might be required. These can usually be carried out at any recognized medical service provider worldwide. On interpretation of the reports, further tests or medications may be advised. If the condition cannot be managed by professionals locally then an appropriate date is fixed for any procedure that might be required at our center.

Infertility

None of our infertility treatment programs requires hospitalization. Some treatment protocols however may require a week or two spent in the city. To ensure consistency and quality we have multiple internationally qualified / experienced embryologists on staff. We have a team of physicians who exclusive interest is in the area of reproductive medicine, there are also andrologists, ultrasound technicians and laboratory technicians who round out the team.

Endoscopic Surgery

A majority of common gynecological problems are now treated with operative Laparoscopic procedures very successfully. Women's Center prides itself as one of the pioneers in minimally invasive procedures, having introduced them as early as 1990. It offers the entire range of operative Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic procedures. These procedures are generally day procedures and might require a single night stay in some cases.
